Avantages:

Responsive database when searching along with clearly laid out user interface.

Inconvénients:

Would be usefull being able to show more lines of data on one page.

In house marketing production, made simpler.

Commentaires: We are solving Product information management in one clear space. We are also using it to integrate Product SKU and Image into indesign from a Print and Digital perspective. This literally saves us hours of time and is an excellent solution as a one stop shop for our marketing production needs.

Avantages:

The PIM and DAM features are very thorough and detailed. I specifically like the PIM for is Parent and Child association. We work with 15,000 product lines and this are interlinked and the PIM makes the management of that data very easy. The DAM is also excellent as you are able to simply drag and drop and manage your image library effectively.

Inconvénients:

In all honesty and I find it difficult to find fault with renaissance. When dealing with Product and Imagery it really does make our lives a whole lot easier.

Good Overall

Avantages:

Easy Collab with other teams - such as images checksEasy access to history - easy finding on locating history images

Inconvénients:

Search bar can be difficult to locate if user does not know where images/file is saved

Avantages:

What I like the most is the integration features from one software program to another - whilst helping you to manage and store documents and image files in an effective manner. Everything is pulled together in one central place

Inconvénients:

Maybe hover over info buttons would be helpful for some features if not used before. Sometimes the pathway to reach something is a bit long

Renaissance helps my team get images approved faster

Commentaires: Using Renaissance has relived pressure from my team. All repro is now out-of-house which allows us to concentrate on the bigger projects.

Avantages:

For us, the commenting tool is the most important. It helps us clearly show what needs changing when working remotely.

Inconvénients:

For the tools I use, I think it works nicely.

Commentaires: Storage for imagery and easy access is great. Customer service is also quick responsive and very helpful!

Avantages:

Really easy and quick to find images. EC2i are also diverse in what they can do to help our business. From model shoots to still life imagery. This can also be saved on the system.

Inconvénients:

It would be great if we could keep imagery in the database for a longer period of time, however understand this could be down to the package we have. It would be great to have a training session to see all of the elements and additional benefits available to us.

Commentaires: The benefits of Renaissance are massive. It saves so much time getting product info and images onto indesign pages in the font style and positions we need.

Avantages:

The product is easy to use and is very fast at producing multiple pages in indesign. We produce hundreds of A3s, price labels, email and social artwork and Renaissance makes it much easier to get the data and images on the indesign pages.

Inconvénients:

I cant say there is much i don't like about renaissance. Integration was gradual but that was due to learning a new system and having IT our side sorting out firewalls

Easy to use. Everything is clear and it's easy to contact other people within the business.

The zooming and having to drag comments off the page.

Avantages:

Easy to open links from emails and to click on thumbnail images. All info in one place and can see other user's comments

Inconvénients:

Not overly user friendly. Don't like that we can't change comments in documents once we have written them and clicked off. Can't annotate more than 20 documents at the same time
