There have just been too many issues overall. We have too many fresh issues at the moment. > > **Inconvénients**: Scheduling is not tied to the timecards correctly, which causes issues with having an attendance policy in place. The lack of ability to make adjustments to pay statements is also a problem; you can't update certain pay rates, which causes too many work-arounds. The ability to have different pay codes tax at different rates on the same pay statement. I feel this is a way to make more money by processing more checks. The lack of ability for the system to calculate historical adjustments and process retro pay accordingly. The cost has been much higher than anticipated as we have spent a lot of time going backwards and fixing things. The EDI files are not what we were told they would be. They are very manual on your end, which has caused issues with Benefits and 401(k). Do not like that changes are done to the system without client input. You should get with the end-user. I don't like that we have to pay for a test system. Also don't like that every little thing is an extra cost; benefit help for open enrollment, 401(k) file feeds (which we were told could be handled and couldn't). The timeclocks are not intuitive enough, which causes problems for hourly employees punching in and out. > > Not a good one. The implementation just goes too fast and things are missed. There was no check list of things to go over so we are a year and a half in and still finding out things we should have known from the beginning. There needs to be a checklist to go over with clients on every piece. Other companies have long implementations because they are more thorough. I also don't feel that this system is built for a manufacturing environment. These updates get applied site wide whether you wanted the change or not and sometimes, I struggle to see the value in some of these changes. I also think they should be better prepared on the "new change" and how it will affect your system. Its not usually found until an employee complains about not being able to see something or do something they used to be able to do. After that Paycom always has a work around but its frustrating that it takes an employee to find the error before it can be fixed. I wish Paycom was more intuitive on how that new update affects MY system. And maybe that is on the specific rep to be on top of those things, but whatever the case, that's the one CON, I have. > > Overall I am happy with Paycom.
