"No more distance barriers with Skype"

Commentaires: It is one of the easily available applications that is compatible with any device. Therefore, I recommend downloading and using it for various communication purposes wherever applicable. It has good quality and is profitable. I'm solving the walls of the distance problem to have a conversation with people far from me. I am also resolving the need to travel to and incur costs for a meeting. I was able to have conversations with people from afar through Skype. I have also been able to hold meetings with my team with Skype successfully.

Avantages: One of the features of skype is its easy use and Set up. Nowadays almost everyone has a Skype account, so finding a contact is very simple, making a video call is very easy and having a long-term call and without interruptions, because the audio and video quality is very good. It is a solution for commercial communications since it avoids many expenses in national and international calls, it can monitor calls and it is integrated with other applications. The computer and even other devices, Skype allows communication through video calls, voice and text.

Inconvénients: The only thing I don't like about Skype is that in its latest updates on PC the notifications are somewhat annoying since they are large and take time to clear, I would rather they were small notifications on the taskbar.

"Good for Group Chats, not for Group Meeting."

Commentaires: Overall Skype for Business, is an option, good for general use.
Meeting with upto 20-25ppl is still manageable, and not much of stability issue.
Moment the number of participants increase, can see multiple issues occurring.
Not optimum for Professional Meeting.

Avantages: Ease of Use. Simple to create a meet-up, meeting room and share the id with others.
Most features like share-screen and seamless video connectivity is good.
Additionally, can just make a video call and add members to the group video/audio call, is a good feature.

Inconvénients: Cannot view all members at the same time in free Skype, in Skype Business, can still see all the participants, but still, cannot arrange the members and also quiet a few limitations with multiple screens.
Additionally, Share-Screen is buggy, always after share-screen, have issues like cannot connect to video, audio is not working, disconnect or reconnect. Hopefully, gets sorted with updates.

"Great features, but still with many flaws"

Commentaires: I am satisfied with it, we use different corporate chat tool before and I would say this is a step forward. But, it still can be much better. The worst feature to me is copying text and pasting it somewhere else with bunch of garbage (you get message text with date/time stamp and other), also, pasting links, for example youtube or similar should work like in popular chat tools such as Viber or Whatsapp. However, screen sharing and sending images seamlessly are great features.

Avantages: Besides general typed messages (it's a chat tool! basically), dragging & dropping images directly into conversation is great. You can also paste copied images (for example, screen captures) directly into chat. Like Outlook, it's showing you who is present, who is absent or away and it syncs with your calendar so you can see when someone is in the meeting.
Feature to share your screen, or request to see others screen is great for problem solving.
It also syncs between your devices.

Inconvénients: I hated when I type message to someone, he/she leaves in the meantime, I send the message just to got the warning that my message was not sent (and will not be send, I mean delivered). Then I needed to copy the message, paste it into an email and sent it via email. I complained to Microsoft so they fixed this in a way that receiver gets the missed messages via email.
I am unsure about the existence of the feature to see past conversations, but I am afraid that it may not exist. That means you cannot continue your today's chat tomorrow if you close Skype (turn off your computer).
Copying messages and pasting it somewhere else is solved in un-intuitive way: whey you copy chat message (you select text in the chat cloud), and you paste it somewhere, it's a text with addition of date time and other garbage, when all you wanted is a message.
One more thing I don't like is that sometimes it won't send image or other file, or, you send it but you don't know if the receiver can actually download it (open it). I often need to remind the sender to send me attachment again because there is "error in transfer" about which the sender didn't know about.

"Great software"

Commentaires: Overall, there are not much difficulties. It is user-friendly and is widely used in our facilities.

Avantages: The software was very essential for the communication between the workers. It is convenient to have on our computers when we want to have conversations in different sectors of the hospital.

Inconvénients: Sometimes it is quite difficult to find certain features.

"Skype for business "

Commentaires: It’s good for official purpose ,transferring messages or joining meetings .

Avantages: Skype for business is good to stay connected with interoffice colleagues or other company colleagues as well , messages is conveniently sent and able to get the active status of others

Inconvénients: There are couple of things which I don’t like about the software is the screenshot or cropped photos you can’t send each other through Skype ,Also while connecting to meeting through a Skype it is slow and takes time, also more emojis and gifs can be added in there to send
